Every woman has a right to live free of gender-based violence. Zonta International recognizes that the human
rights of women and girls are an inalienable, integral and indivisible part of universal human rights.
Zontians and Zonta Clubs have been committed to preventing violence against women for many years.
They have supported such efforts through special local projects and generous donations to the ZISVAW Fund initiated in 1999.
